How to Get Started: Whether you are in the worst shape of your life or a professional athlete, Outlier Crossfit has a program to suit your needs. There are three ways to get started on your journey to becoming an Outlier: 1) Fundamentals Course; 2) Group Fundamentals Course 3) Olympic Lifting Refresher; or 4) Testing Out. To ensure your safety and long-term success, one or more of these options is required before joining the group classes.
Fundamentals Course: If you are new to CrossFit or simply want to gain mastery in the foundational movements that are central to our program, this is the course for you. The Fundamentals Course consists of five one-on-one sessions with a trainer who will guide you through the most common movements performed in CrossFit. You will receive comprehensive training in movements ranging from a basic squat to Olympic lifts. The trainer will customize each session to your unique needs, goals, and level of fitness. In addition, you will receive consultation about proper nutrition and diet. This course is a prerequisite for joining the group classes and will help ensure your success at Outlier CrossFit.
Price for the 1 on 1 Fundamentals Course is $300 which includes the first month membership.
Group Fundamentals Course: These courses cover the same material as our 1 on 1 Fundamentals course but they are coached in a group setting and must be scheduled during the Group Fundamentals Course class times only. Price for Group Fundamentals Course is $150.

Olympic Lifting Refresher: Proper form on the Olympic lifts is essential to ensuring safety and success in the group classes. This course is specifically designed for those familiar with fundamental CrossFit movements but who would like to gain more confidence in Olympic lifting. Additionally, this course is recommended for those who would like to test out of fundamentals but are unsure of their Olympic lifting competency. This course consists of two one-on-one sessions with an Olympic Lifting Certified trainer who will focus attention on teaching and perfecting your Clean, Jerk, and Snatch. Price for the 1 on 1 Olympic Lifting Refresher course is $100.
Testing Out: If you have been CrossFitting for a few months already or are transferring from another gym, you may request to test out of our Fundamentals Course. This hour-long session will verify your ability to safely and properly perform all foundational movements including gymnastics, power lifting, and Olympic lifting. Note: if during the test out we find that you are competent in all fundamental movements besides Olympic lifting, we may ask you to take our two day Olympic Lifting Refresher course before joining the group classes.
